From Engineer to Auctioneer (I’m all ears).

After many years as a Project Manager in the automotive and manufacturing industries it was time for a change. I obtained my Auction and Real Estate Licenses in 2010. I became a graduate of the NAA Certified Auctioneer Institute (CAI) course. This course is an in-depth study into the business aspects of the Auction Method of Marketing. It is a three year course of study completed successfully by less than 1% of all auctioneers.

As an active member of the Western Upstate Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors (NAR), South Carolina Auctioneers Association (SCAA) and the National Auctioneers Associations (NAA). Also, I was  lucky enough to have been chosen to serve on the SCAA Board of Directors.

I have participated in Fundraising Auctions and volunteer efforts including the United Way and the American Red Cross, as well as local charity auctions.

These experiences, coupled with the knowledge obtained through selling Real Estate, for Century 21 and now Coldwell Banker have been invaluable. I specialize in estate sales, relocation, investment property, new construction and land sales. I am able to utilize either Conventional Sales Methods and or the Auction Method of Marketing to get the job done.

In addition, my manufacturing experience and knowledge of machine tools has provided me with a solid background for Industrial Auctions. However, the more I learn the more I realize how little I know, therefore for specialized items I am blessed by my association with the SCAA whose resources, and those of the NAA, are available to me.

My primary objective is to solve problems by rapid liquidation converting assets into cash, provide solutions to excess inventory, and to facilitate estate settlements. I can also assist with a 1031 exchanges (sell investment property and defer capital gains).
